Cookies and similar storage, explained plainly.
HumanoSys uses a small amount of browser storage to keep the website secure and remember your choices. Optional analytics is only enabled when you allow it.
What we use
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Websites can also use similar technologies such as local storage. We separate these into necessary technologies and optional analytics.
HumanoSys does not load Google Analytics until you choose to allow analytics in the cookie controls.
Necessary technologies
These support functions the website needs to operate securely. Depending on the feature you use, they can include session, authentication and anti-forgery protections. We also use local browser storage to remember your cookie preference so we do not ask you on every page.
| Purpose | Type | Why it is needed |
|---|---|---|
| Security and form protection | First-party cookies | Helps protect forms and authenticated website functions. |
| Sign-in and session | First-party cookies | Used when a visitor signs in or uses a feature that requires a session. |
| Cookie preference | Local storage | Remembers whether optional analytics is allowed for up to 180 days. |
Optional analytics
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics to understand general website usage such as visits, pages viewed and how visitors move through the site. This helps us identify what is useful and where the website can be improved.
Google Analytics may set cookies including _ga and related _ga_* cookies. Their duration is controlled by Google and can be up to two years. We do not use the consent system to enable advertising personalization.
If you reject optional cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded. If you later switch analytics off, HumanoSys disables analytics collection for the page and attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies set for this site.
Your choices
You can accept all optional analytics, reject it, or change your decision later. Necessary technologies remain active because the website cannot provide secure core functions without them.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics remains off by default unless you explicitly enable it in the HumanoSys cookie settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, our analytics setup or applicable requirements change. Where a material change affects optional tracking, we may ask you to make a new choice.
